Adolfo Abejón Exhibition

Metal, marble, composite materials and questions about the past and the future of furniture. Based on a reflection of where furniture design is heading, the designer Adolfo Abejón has embarked on a journey with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. Three new designs were presented in the exhibition—the Falcon, Atlas and Orion tables—which open up a new discourse on the use of the space, mutability, fine materials and the break with archetypes. They were sharing the space with another seven pieces by the artist, among them the Slim lamp and the Cobra chair. The exhibition’s guiding thread was a piece in marble produced jointly with the creator Albert Romagosa.
