My Toilet: stories of women and girls from around the world

One of every three inhabitants of the planet does not have appropriate sanitation conditions. Women and children are regularly and disproportionately affected by the lack of access to water, sanitation and hygiene.

The collection of 35 photographs that comprise the exhibition reflects how access to a bathroom with lavatory increases the opportunities of gaining a good education and a job as well as conferring dignity, safety and status anywhere on the planet.

This exhibition, organised on a not-for-profit basis by the We Are Water Foundation to highlight the importance of appropriate sanitation, arrives at the Roca Barcelona Gallery from London, where it was on show in November 2014.

Until 31 July
