Goodbye Ventura Lambrate. Hello Ventura Future

The Milano Design Week, the annual event that is the lifeblood of the city of Milan, showcasing the most brilliant and innovative design ideas from all over the world, has enjoyed this year the new Ventura Projects proposal: Ventura Future, which shared centre stage with the second edition of Ventura Centrale.

The Ventura Projects initiatives in Milan have always stood out for their clear commitment to content, creativity and experimentation. In 2018, after eight stagings, the Ventura Lambrate project disappears to usher Ventura Future, a new adventure that focuses on revolutionary design, with special attention being paid to new materials and innovative production methods (such as 3D concrete printing), while also expanding the visibility of the most acclaimed and promising designers of our time.

In its first edition it occupied three exceptional locations in the Loreto district: FuturDome—the museum that was formerly a meeting point of the Futurism Movement—in Via Paisiello; the beautiful Milanese gallery space Loft, in Via Donatello, and the former Pharmacy Faculty of Viale Abruzzi.

The figures demonstrate the great acceptance of this new proposal: 82 exhibitors of 30 nationalities (among them 18 universities), distributed over a display area of 4,500m2, plus 45,000 visitors.
