Decorative, large-format digital printing at Heimtextil

A display of HP creativity at the Heimtextil fair (staged from 9 to 12 January 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany), the setting chosen by the information technologies company to showcase the variety of applications enabled by digital printing technology in the design of interiors and in personalised decoration on any scale.

The HP stand recreated different rooms, each one of them with a different purpose and use, which in turn posed different design and décor requirements. From a medical consultation room with antibacterial wallpaper to a room with armchairs that absorbed sound and decorative OLED Wallpaper, each room told a story and came to life through HP Latex and HP Indigo printing technology, featuring designs that addressed current problems such as ageing, pollution, recycling and the environment.

Colour digital printing with photoengraving quality is an innovative process that increases production speed, considerably reduces waste of material and generates important benefits in printing on demand.

Suitable for large volumes of continuous printing as well as tiny batches in which the design changes every metre, the wallpaper solution based on the digital HP Indigo 20000 press has the capacity to continuously print 1515m2 per hour, with a width of 74cm.
