Rethinking design in the new age of technology

The young Spanish company Nagami made its debut at the Milano Design Week with “Brave New World: Re-thinking Design in the New Age of Technology”, a pioneering project combining computational design and large-scale 3D robotic printing.

The four chairs —Bow and Rise by Zaha Hadid Architects, Robotica TM by Ross Lovegrove and Peeler by Daniel Widrig— premiered during the design week are models that explore new ways of creating future, pushing the limits of the imagination towards territories never seen before.

"We design products that were hitherto awaiting the arrival of the right technology: not only tangible objects but also those that can be felt and experimented with as part of our surroundings”, say Manuel Jimenez García, Miki Jimenez García and Ignacio Viguera Ochoa, Nagami’s founders.
