Finalists 2018 RIBA International Prize

The Bosco Verticale (two high towers that house more than 2.000 trees and plants) in Milan, by Boeri Studio; the refurbished building of Central European University in Budapest, by O'Donnell + Tuomey; the Children Village housing for students in Brazil, by Rosenbaum + AlephZero, and the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo, by Nikken Sekkei are the four projects in the running for the RIBA International Prize, the biennial prize awarded by the Royal Institute of British Architects that seeks to recognise the best architectural work built anywhere in the world over the past three years.

The five-member jury—Elizabeth Diller, Diller Scofidio + Renfro (Chair); Joshua Bolchover, Co-Founding Director of Rural Urban Framework; Kazuyo Sejima, Founding Partner of SANAA; Gloria Cabral, Partner of Gabinete de Arquitectura, and Peter Clegg, Senior Partner of Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios—selected the four finalists from a shortlist of 62 projects announced at the end of last year. The winner will be revealed later this year after the jury visits each of the finalists.
