Pedrosa de la Vega. Palencia

La Olmeda Roman Villa

Paredes Pedrosa, arquitectos

Description Technical file

The main objective of this brilliant project is to relate fragments of the past with the unitary character of modern architecture, all within the frame of reference of fragile horizontality which is so typical of the Castilian landscape. A perimeter fence made of perforated sheet iron and polycarbonate tinges the light and helps integrate the different elements of the programme: the villa and the springs with their mosaics, the museum space and a centre for specialised studies.
