Description Technical file

The characteristics of this project centre on a form of aerial stratification of the structural, mechanical, electrical, installations- and communications-related systems with the objective of making it possible to achieve a maximum of flexibility in the distribution of the furniture.
The BPMO communications group is a corporate organisation subjected to intense speed of changes and transformations as a consequence of their activities, thus requiring a suitable space that will facilitate this manner of working throughout its productive lifecycle.
The space is organised from a point of view that entails the most radical flexibility: capacity to adapt to change as the most important characteristic of the office design. The definition of the workstation must accept the maximum number of organisational combinations and juxtapositions to meet the demands of communications and grouping of teams while also accommodating the IT and communications requirements of the current and future working methods.
The operation centres on an aerial stratification of the structural, mechanical, electrical, installations- and communications-related systems in order to make it possible to achieve a maximum of flexibility in the distribution of the furniture.
The result of this powerfully radical approach is an open-plan flexible space favoured by the entry of filtered and regulated natural light. The atmosphere is one of serenity and harmony thanks to the predominant colour scheme of blacks and whites and by the light filtered through the blinds in all the external openings. The rigour generated by a neutral backdrop in the finishes of the furniture, enclosures and floors does not interfere with the colourful chaos of the working material. The floor is formed from tiles in a plynil finish characterised by its easy maintenance, as it withstands damp and facilitates the shifting of the working furniture as well as improving the acoustic conditions of the office surroundings.
Evaluation of the jury
For achieving an extraordinarily pleasant and comfortable working environment that is flexible and multifunctional without any concession to superfluity and with notable economy of means.
