Sympatique is a project born of a couple who are passionate about pashminas. In their quest for new projects and adventures they decided to establish this shop with the most original pashminas, unique prints and exclusive fabrics. The small premises, situated in the centre of Seville, is in a classic three-storey building that in the future aims to host the brand’s events and showrooms.
Sympatique had the goal of offering the clarity of a concept that would help explain the brand’s character and personality and its relationship with the retail space. This is why the authors of this interior design project designed a colourful establishment adorned with coloured yarns woven around the shop’s pillars, thus taking centre stage in the space.
The furniture, which was exclusively custom-designed for the establishment and comprises pieces in oak wood and a metallic structure in a gold colour, with open and closed drawers, mirrors and storage of various types, form the necessary support for the shop’s retail activity.
The lighting is another central detail in this intervention. A circular neon light, which recalls the logo of the graphic image, appears in the middle of the gold arches, livening up the space. Wall fixtures and pendant lamps with filament bulbs give it a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
In the façade a boost was given to the intention of providing a fun, cheerful touch, like the facades that form Seville’s urban centre, and it was painted in a dark blue colour and a huge circular sign was generated.
The new identity and the branding is also the design ofPiedraPapelTijera. A simple but highly suitable logo seeks to recall an “engaging and sympathetic” smile, as its commercial name indicates.
